Since its inception in 2005 Requestival has gone from strength to strength. Raising awareness to the plight of street and orphaned children in Peru music events in both in the UK and Europe have seen the Requestival charity grow and grow. The Requestival Sound System is the driving force behind the Requestival charity.Led by founder Alaexe aka DJ Shoddy and backed by Wendy Sofee and Manina aka'DJ'S Caravana Van Dwella and Trucka the system mixes music from all around the world i:e Gypsy,Balkan Klezmer,Flamenco etc etc and adds to that cartoon themes and movie soundtracks all in a very silly danceable styley. The music has brought us a lot of new friends and long may it continue.So if you see our name at a Festival or club pop in and see if we can get you dancing. The one and only rule Requestival has is No Sulking. Happiness Rules.xxx
